About This Tour

Your journey starts at 09:00 AM at the Stone Town waterfront, where you board a traditional local wooden boat for a short 20–30 minute cruise to your first stop.
🐢 Stop 1 — Prison Island (Changuu) Walk among the giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old, learn about the island's history, and explore the old prison and quarantine buildings. Time to feed and photograph the tortoises, explore the ruins, and enjoy views back toward Stone Town.
🏝️ Stop 2 — Nakupenda Sandbank Continue to the stunning Nakupenda Sandbank — one of Zanzibar's most photographed natural spots. Swim in crystal-clear turquoise water, snorkel with included equipment, relax on powder-white sand, and take incredible beach and drone photos.
A fresh seafood & Swahili buffet lunch is served right on the beach — grilled fish, octopus, rice, vegetables, chapati and seasonal tropical fruits. Drinks include soft drinks, wine or beer, plus fruit and light snacks.
Return to Stone Town between 3:30 and 4:00 PM, depending on tide and sea conditions.
