FAQs
Private catamaran tours on Bacalar Lagoon start at $649 for the whole boat, up to 2 guests. The all-inclusive private catamaran tour and the sunrise sail are priced by group size, while the romantic sail is for couples only. Hotel transfers are available on request at an additional cost.
Bacalar lagoon tours here are private sailing catamaran trips: an all-inclusive tour with an open bar, a sunrise sail with coffee and breakfast, and a romantic trip for couples. The Sunrise Private Catamaran, Bacalar Lagoon of Seven Colors is out before any other tour boat, and the Romantic Private Catamaran for Two comes with wine.
The all-inclusive tour includes an open bar of cold beer, tequila, rum, sodas and fresh juices from departure to docking, plus guacamole and ceviche between stops. The boat is yours alone, which suits birthdays, bachelorettes and anniversaries, and the captain speaks English, Spanish and French. See the All Inclusive Private Catamaran Tour, Bacalar Lagoon.
Yes. The Romantic Private Catamaran for Two gives you the whole boat, a chilled bottle of wine and a small surprise prepared by the crew while you swim. You sail to Canal Xtomoc and Isla de los Cocos, with ceviche, guacamole and fruit on board, and the afternoon departure returns at golden hour and sunset.
On the all-inclusive tour you stop in Pirate Channel's shallow turquoise water, sail past Bird Island, a protected mangrove island, and swim at Cenote Esmeralda and the indigo Cenote Negro. The sunrise sail reaches Isla de los Cocos and Pirate Channel at golden hour, and the romantic trip sails through the hidden Canal Xtomoc.
Reef-safe sunscreen is mandatory to protect the lagoon, so pack it with swimwear, a towel, sunglasses, a hat and a light cover-up. Bring a valid ID and your booking confirmation too. On the sunrise sail, add a light layer because it's cool at dawn. Tours leave from Bacalar Pier.
