About This Tour
Nakupenda Sandbank is one of the most impressive natural beaches in Zanzibar — a long strip of soft white sand surrounded by crystal-clear ocean.
Your journey begins in Stone Town at 09:00 AM, boarding a traditional local wooden boat for a short 20–30 minute ride. The local crew assists you onboard and provides soft drinks, wine or beer, plus snacks and tropical fruits throughout the day.
Once at the sandbank, you'll enjoy time to swim, relax, and snorkel with snorkeling equipment included, exploring the shallow coral reef teeming with marine life.
Around midday, a freshly prepared seafood & Swahili buffet lunch is served — often including fish, octopus, rice, chapati, vegetables, and seasonal fruits.
Depending on the tide and sea conditions, the return to Stone Town is between 3:30 and 4:00 PM.
