About This Tour

Cayo Levantado is the original Bacardi Island — the small palm-shaded island made famous in 1970s Bacardi rum commercials. White sand, calm turquoise shallows on the north side, and the kind of palm shade that doesn't move. This day pass is the easy way to spend a few hours there.

The pass covers round-trip boat transfer from Samaná Town Marina, beach access, and free time on the island. Lunch is not included — beach restaurants on Cayo Levantado serve fresh seafood, Dominican plates, and cold drinks; pay as you go. Beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent at the island.

Cast off at 10:00, arrive at Cayo Levantado around 10:45. Roughly 4 hours of free time on the island. Return boat departs at 14:15, back at Samaná Town Marina by 15:00. Available during peak Caribbean season — 15 January to 31 March.

Tour Itinerary

Walk off your ship at Bayport, Town Marina, or Embat. BTC crew meets you within 4–8 minutes and walks you to the catamaran.

Cast off across the Bay of Samaná Approximately 45-minute crossing toward Cayo Levantado.

Cayo Levantado: lunch, then beach time Disembark at the island pier. Beachside lunch served at 10:00, followed by roughly two hours of free time on the sand.
