Cross the bay under sail toward Cayo Levantado — the original Bacardi Island from the 1970s rum commercial. White sand, calm turquoise shallows, palm shade. Lunch served beachside, open bar onboard throughout. Six hours total. Back by 3:00 PM.

🐋 Whale Season (15 January – 31 March)

Every year from mid-January through the end of March, the Bay of Samaná becomes one of the world's most important humpback whale sanctuaries — thousands of humpbacks migrate here to mate, give birth, and raise their calves.

Your sail to Cayo Levantado passes directly through their breeding territory, and during this window whale sightings are highly likely. Your captain slows the boat for observations whenever whales are visible — mothers with newborn calves, massive breaches, tail slaps, and the distinctive songs of male humpbacks.
