About This Tour

Forget the crowded party boat. This is a 31-foot centre console with twin 300-horsepower engines, tuna tubes, a live bait tank and a bathroom, and it fishes both offshore and inshore.

Lines in the water shortly after seven. Offshore you are chasing sailfish from December through April, marlin from May to October, tuna through most of the year and dorado from September into January. Inshore, along the rocks, the target is roosterfish from around May through November, plus snapper and jack. The captain reads the season and the conditions and picks the water. Rods, tackle, bait and ice are on board, and so is a mate who spends the day rigging and keeping your drink cold.

This is the trip we recommend for anglers who want a boat that can run offshore, for father-and-son trips, and for mixed groups where half the party wants to fish and the other half wants a beach. The fishing-plus-island format solves exactly that: a morning on the water, then buffet lunch, beach chairs and a snorkelling stop.

Which Departure to Choose

Every trip is a private charter of the whole boat, with captain and mate, rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, beer, soft drinks, water, fruit and snacks included. The hours you select change the food and how far offshore you can realistically run.

4 hours Half day, 7:00 to 11:00 AM or 12:30 to 4:30 PM. Drinks, fruit and snacks onboard. No lunch.

6 hours Three-quarter day, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Adds a boxed lunch.

8 hours Full day, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Adds a boxed lunch, and gives the best chance at offshore billfish.

9 hours Fishing plus island, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Fish in the morning, then run to the island for buffet lunch ashore, beach chairs, umbrellas and a snorkelling tour. The format to pick when half your group would rather be on a beach.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit confirms the charter and is non-refundable
The remaining balance is due one week before the tour
Rescheduling requires written notice one week before the original date and is subject to availability
All payments are non-refundable in the case of a no-show
If the tour cannot run because of government regulation, or because the captain judges the weather unsafe, we reschedule first. If no alternative date is possible, you receive a 100% refund

Offshore or Inshore Run The captain calls it on the season and the conditions, billfish grounds offshore or the rocky structure inshore

Fishing The mate handles rigging, leaders and the release. Boxed lunch on the 6 and 8 hour trips. On the 9 hour island format you go ashore for buffet lunch, beach chairs and a snorkelling stop instead
