Your Four Hours on the Water

Here’s how your trip unfolds, step by step.

1. 1

   Cruise Port Pickup

   Meet your driver at the Port Cabo Rojo cruise terminal. Pickup is typically 45–60 minutes after your ship docks, with timing adjusted to your cruise schedule.

2. 2

   Transfer to La Cueva

   Travel about 25 minutes by air-conditioned vehicle to La Cueva de las Águilas, near Jaragua National Park.

3. 3

   Beach Boarding & Safety Briefing

   Wade through shallow water to board the fishing boat. The crew will assist you and give a short safety briefing before departure.

4. 4
   

   Head Offshore

   Cruise beyond the reef into deeper Caribbean waters as the captain prepares the fishing gear and sets up the trolling lines.

5. 5
   

   Deep-Sea Fishing

   Spend your fishing time trolling for species such as mahi-mahi, wahoo and blackfin tuna, depending on the season and sea conditions. Rods, bait and tackle are included.

6. 6

   Return to Shore

   Cruise back to La Cueva after your 4-hour fishing trip and disembark at the beach.

7. 7

   Transfer Back to Port

   Your driver takes you directly back to Port Cabo Rojo, with the return planned for at least 60 minutes before your ship’s all-aboard time.
