About This Tour
Every other Tortuga Island tour wants you up early. This one checks in at midday.
You board a two-level catamaran at Los Suenos and cross the Gulf of Nicoya in the afternoon light. The boat carries a water slide and a diving platform, and the snorkel ladder drops straight off the stern, so getting in the water does not involve a tender ride or a queue. Gourmet sandwiches and chips come out on deck, and Jungle Juice and margaritas follow once everyone is back on board. There is beach time on Tortuga Island itself, then the run home puts the sun on the water for the crossing.
This is the tour we recommend if you have already done a full day on the water and want something shorter, if a morning departure does not fit your schedule, or if you are only in Jaco for a night and still want to get out to the island. Departure is walking distance from the Marriott.

Sandwiches, Drinks and Beach Time on Tortuga Gourmet sandwiches and chips on deck, then Jungle Juice and margaritas after snorkelling. Ashore for white sand and clear water, no rush
Sunset Crossing Home The run back puts the sun on the water. Back at the dock by 6:00 PM
