About This Tour

Experience real deep-sea fishing in the legendary Pemba Channel — one of East Africa's most renowned big-game fishing grounds. This is a traditional Zanzibar sport-fishing charter: simple but professional, built for serious anglers rather than luxury cruising.

Your adventure begins on the beach at Kendwa or Nungwi, where a short transfer boat takes you to your fully equipped sport-fishing vessel anchored just offshore. Once onboard, you'll head out to the deep blue waters with twin engines, GPS, fish finder, and premium Penn & Shimano tackle.

Your experienced captain and crew know these waters intimately and will adjust techniques and routes based on daily conditions. Expect to target Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Dorado (Mahi-Mahi), Barracuda, Sailfish, and seasonal Marlin.

Choose the trip that fits your day:

🎣 Half Day (5 hours) — Morning or afternoon session perfect for first-timers, families, or anglers short on time. Snacks and soft drinks included.

🍽️ Full Day (8 hours) — Extended expedition with the best chance at trophy fish. Includes onboard lunch, drinks, and a full day of action in the deeper channels.

Departure Point: Kendwa / Nungwi beach (15-min transfer from most north-coast hotels). Short transfer boat from the beach to the main vessel anchored offshore.
Group Size: Up to 6 anglers per private charter

There was so much space on the boat to lounge, relax and put our stuff away. We had a whole day excursion and went to the a shallow pool and Saona Island.
