About This Tour

Forget the crowded resort boats. The Paradise Day Sail is a full day aboard Random Wind, a 52' sailing catamaran, gliding along the St. Maarten coast with a crew that has worked these waters for 27 years.

After a quick safety briefing the sails go up and the open bar opens. You'll drop anchor at quiet spots to snorkel over reefs alive with starfish, rays and blue tang (turtles sometimes join), and there's a stand-up paddleboard and kayak to play on.

Lunch is cooked fresh in the galley: coconut chicken and rice, with cookies and chocolates to follow. Then it's on to the famous Tarzan swing in deeper water before a relaxed sail back with snacks and music.

With just 30 guests and a cushioned seat for everyone, it's a relaxed day for couples, families and friends, and an easy cruise excursion from Philipsburg.

There was so much space on the boat to lounge, relax and put our stuff away. We had a whole day excursion and went to the a shallow pool and Saona Island.
