FAQs
Tickets for the shared Marietas Islands catamaran are priced from $149 per person. Private charters start at $1,599 for the whole boat, up to 10 guests. The private Punta Mita Coast Catamaran Cruise: 4 Hours includes slides, a dive platform, paddleboards, kayaks and snorkel gear, with a stop at a beach along the Punta Mita coast.
Yes, all of our Puerto Vallarta sailing charters are private except the shared Marietas Islands tour. The Private 56ft Sailing Catamaran Charter in Puerto Vallarta has front trampolines, bean bags and boom-netting, and the Private 48ft Trimaran Charter in Puerto Vallarta offers a wide, stable ride with dive platforms for easy water access.
Yes, the Private Sunset Catamaran Cruise in Puerto Vallarta and the Private Sunset Catamaran Cruise: 3 Hours sail Banderas Bay, which faces west, for your group only. Each includes an open bar and appetizers, a swim or water-toy stop before the sun goes down, and a ride back to the marina under neon and underwater lights.
You can head into the Marietas Islands national park or cruise the Punta Mita coast. The Las Marietas Islands Luxury Catamaran Cruise: 6 Hours and the shared Marietas tour snorkel inside the park, where blue-footed boobies nest. The cruiser, trimaran and sailing catamaran skip the park, so they run every day with no park closures.
Pack swimwear, a towel, sunglasses, a hat, a camera or waterproof phone case and a valid ID. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, because most of these boats allow reef-safe lotion only and spray sunscreen isn't permitted on board. For the evening sunset cruises, add a light layer.
All of these sailing trips board at La Cruz Marina, where you meet the crew at the dock. If you book transport for the Las Marietas Islands luxury cruise, you can ride round trip from the Sayulita office instead, and hotel transport is available anywhere in Puerto Vallarta on request.
