Puerto Plata Fishing Charter – 56ft Private Sportfisher

Fish one of the most productive deep sea fishing locations in the Caribbean with a private 56ft sportfisher charter in Puerto Plata.

Departing directly from Playa Sosua, your lines hit the water within minutes as you head toward the North Shore drop-off — a deep underwater ledge where Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and Sailfish are commonly found.

Your experienced captain and crew handle everything, from baiting lines to guiding you through the fight. Whether you’re a first-time angler or experienced fisherman, the trip is adapted to your level for the best possible experience.

Puerto Plata offers year-round fishing, with different species active depending on the season. Your captain adjusts the strategy based on conditions and what’s biting that day:

• Winter (Dec–Feb): Sailfish and Wahoo peak
• Spring (Mar–May): White Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna
• Summer (Jun–Aug): Blue Marlin and Tuna
• Fall (Sep–Nov): Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Sailfish

With a spacious deck, professional equipment, and a dedicated crew, this is a true big game fishing experience — not a tourist version.
