About This Tour

Skip the shuttle-van queue at the pier. Step off your ship and straight onto your own catamaran, the sail goes up, Port Cabo Rojo shrinks behind you, and the wild south coast of Jaragua opens ahead.

You anchor over a reef first: masks on, fins on, into water so clear the fish arrive before you do. Then the Timaye natural pool, waist-deep and glassy, where starfish rest on the sand. And finally Bahía de las Águilas itself, seven kilometres of empty white sand inside a national park, the beach most cruise passengers only photograph from a distance.

This is the trip for families, friend groups and couples who would rather have the boat to themselves than share it with sixty strangers. And because you are on a cruise clock, your captain runs to it, so you are back at the terminal with time to spare.

There was so much space on the boat to lounge, relax and put our stuff away. We had a whole day excursion and went to the a shallow pool and Saona Island.
