About This Tour

The crossing takes 25 minutes and this boat makes it feel like ten. Bow up, spray off the navy hull, and Playa Norte sharpening from a white line into a beach.

An express cruiser is built to cover water, so the 40-footer spends less time in transit and more time anchored. Out of Marina Sunset Lagoon, a fast run along the Hotel Zone, then the captain slows for the snorkel: El Meco reef when the visibility is on, the El Blanquizal sandbar when the reef is choppy.

Four-hour charters stay on the Cancun side: the Nichupte lagoon channels, the Hotel Zone coastline and a swim stop in the bay. Six and eight-hour charters cross to Isla Mujeres.

At Playa Norte you get the long anchorage: swim off the platform, float with a drink, wade to the beach clubs. The 6-hour option adds an hour ashore on Isla Mujeres and a second snorkel near MUSA and the Manchones reef. The 8-hour runs south to the Punta Sur cliffs and lighthouse.

Choose this for the classic Isla Mujeres day with a group of up to twelve: friends, two couples plus kids, a birthday crew, anyone who wants more beach and less boat time. For a pure Isla Mujeres yacht rental, this is the boat.

There was so much space on the boat to lounge, relax and put our stuff away. We had a whole day excursion and went to the a shallow pool and Saona Island.
