About This Tour

Your day begins from Stone Town at 09:00 AM, boarding your private traditional wooden boat for a 20–30 minute cruise to your first stop.
🐢 Stop 1 — Prison Island (Changuu) Explore Prison Island with your own private guide. Meet the famous giant Aldabra tortoises (many over 100 years old), visit the old prison and quarantine buildings, and enjoy time for photos and walking around the island — all without rushing.
🏝️ Stop 2 — Nakupenda Sandbank Next, sail to Nakupenda Sandbank — one of Zanzibar's most beautiful natural spots, a long strip of soft white sand surrounded by turquoise water. Here you can swim, snorkel with included gear, relax on the white sand, take stunning photos, and enjoy the day at your own pace.
Your crew prepares a fresh seafood & Swahili buffet lunch directly on the sandbank — grilled fish, octopus, rice, vegetables, chapati, and tropical fruits. Soft drinks, wine or beer are served throughout the day.
Return to Stone Town between 3:30 and 4:00 PM, depending on tide and sea conditions.
This is a simple, authentic Zanzibar experience — a basic wooden boat with no toilet onboard, real island vibes, but fully private for your group.
